The Invoicing module provides the facility to bill customers direct from WiP, Schedule Fees, Bill from Templates and Products. The modules also provides the ability to view and email invoice as required.

The Billing Invoice module supports both manual and automatic billing using a number of fee types as follows:

Manual Fees - manual fees to generate appropriate fee lines as required

 

Advances Fees

When an advanced fee is raised the system will allow you to allocate the fee to a customers matter for posting into work in progress (WIP)

 

Template Fees

Pre defined templates can be set up and the client can then be billed using one of these templates. A template can support a number of fee lines using variable values and scales to automatically calculate the amount to be billed

 

Product Fees

Standard products can be pre defined to create quick and simple bills of fixed amounts. When you select a product the value of that product will be billed automatically.

 

WIP Fees

Time and expenses can be entered via AllTime These can then be billed either by using a sophisticated rapid billing grid or by simply dragging and dropping the WIP item onto a fee.

 

Scheduled Fees

The fee scheduler allows you to set up a schedule to automatically create fees at pre defined intervals. The schedule can be run nightly to check if and fees are due. If a fee is due it will be automatically created as unposted.

This section is controlled by security which is maintained at Settings > Security > System Security > Financial > Billing

 

To raise an invoice, select the relevant Master Entity, Period and Customer, then select the Add invoice type on left panel and complete other invoice details as required
