Filters and Searches

There are three main search and filter options, these are:

 

Date Filter

The date filter will display all time and expense entries within a given date range.  There are a number of predefined ranges you can select from the range box, including today, this week, this month, this year and many more.  There is also a facility to create a custom range by selecting a range in the date from and date to boxes.  When you have created the range click on the go button to display transaction within that range.

 

Search

The search facility allow you to go directly to any record in the list.  To instigate a search first of all type in the text or value you wish to search for, then select the column you wish to search and finally select the type of search e.g Starts with or Exact match.

Filter Columns

Filter columns option allows you to define much more precise filters e.g Filter by Client, Project, Expense/Time.   To create a filter first of all select the column you wish to filter on, now select the value or item you wish to filter on from the information list box.  Now click on go to execute the filter. You can add other filter expressions to apply a more rigid filter e.g.  Client = ABC Investments and Project = Corporate Secretarial.
