This section discusses how to edit a company from the companies grid by using the right click menu, for details about editing a company through the entity wizard, please refer to the Using The Entity Wizard section.
To edit a company from the companies grid simply right click on any existing company, go to company details and select Edit Company Details. This will display the Company Information screen where the user can view the information for the company, this screen is shown below.
To edit any of these details the user can press the edit button to unlock the fields for editing and press the update button once finished. Company Details can be edited on page 1 and page 2 (as shown below).
Company Details page 3 is also available for editing if used, this page stores customisable data fields, page 3 is shown below.
Page 3 appears to be almost blank and meaningless, this is because these fields are customizable to store any additional information. To setup these fields from enSecretary, the user can select the arrow next to CRT and then select Company Fields as below. Note the CRT label is customizable.
This will then display the following screens to the user if they have the right user security, where they can enter or change these custom fields.
