Settlors

This section discusses how to setup and manage Settlors, this is done from the Trusts Grid by right clicking on a trust, going to trust details, and going to the sub menu Related Details, then selecting Settlors.

One or more trust settlors can be added / maintained here. Settlors must be existing CRM entities and must have the system category "Settlor" attached. The system allows for the recording of both appointment and resignation dates.

The full history of trustee appointment / resignations is also stored. Use the "Show removed trustees" check box in the trustees browser to view history.

 

Settlors can be added, edited and resigned from the browser as shown below.

To add a Settlor the user can click on the 'Add' button to be presented with the following screen.

Editing the settlor presents the user with the same screen as above. You can also right click on a settlor to be presented the option to launch enFocus and view the information about the entity appointed as shown below.

To delete a Settlor, the user can select the appointed settlor from the settlors screen and press the delete button.
