This can be used to run the latest allscripts for our application just after an update. This saves user from having to load and login SQL separately to run the latest allscript for the version updated to.

A tick box (Run Database Update Script) will be displayed at the end of the application update to enabled user if they wish, to run the SQL Packager

Once ticked and press the finish button, this will then launch the latest allscripts for the application.

To use this feature for the first time, user will have to first manually enter the server, username and password that will be required for connection. Here, user can also change the option to use upgrade database and select any database available during this configuration. Also, a check has been put in place to stop the allscript from running if the latest version of previous versions hasn’t been ran on the data. For example, if you try running the latest V31 allscript and you haven’t ran the V30.523 version, it will tell you, you need to run the previous version first.
