LiveFile is an Enterprise Document Management (EDM) module providing a centralized repository for all corporate documents and files. LiveFile is a complete platform for capturing, managing and archiving large volumes of documents and electronic files. LiveFile employs a tight security rule matrix which controls access to various types of content - this is complimented by a full audit trail and document version history which records all activity within LiveFile including document movements, version changes and user access. LiveFile integrates seamlessly with other enVisual modules. LiveFile can also integrate with Microsoft office applications via plug-in.
LiveFile is split into four Applications, these are Explorer, DropDocs, and Plug-Ins.
ENTITY DOCUMENT PUSH TO LIVEFILE To ensure entity document are push into LiveFile correctly. The file default settings have to be configured correctly. This can be done in LiveFile Publish > Tools > Defaults.
Which will then display the publish defaults window Here, entity can be set for the default or left blank for all entities. Document type, form type and management can be set up. User also have the option here to set the following: Auto Generate Summary, Protect Summary, Project Mandatory, Retention Periods, Number of Pages for Summary and integration defaults.
