enEvent AutoDocs is a separate application that allows users the ability to publish emails and attachments directly to the LiveFile storage system and/or to the enVisual Comms Log located within enCentral.
The application is installed via a separate enEvent MSI and once configured it can be found within Outlook as shown below;
The application should be configured before use and this is explained in greater detail in the next few topics. Note that the enEvent service is based around the enVisual connection settings and thus requires the core programs of both 'enVisual' and 'LiveFile' to be installed beforehand.
Service Requirements 1. The service will need to have a dedicated domain user (and local server administrator) configured for to be specifically used for the logon details 2. The SQL security group configured for Live File access must be upgrade to include the server admin permission. a. Adjusting this is covered in a separate section 3. The enEvent6 AutoDocs summary generation mechanisms require Microsoft Office to be installed on the machine that is running the service. 4. It is advised that the new account configured for the service account use (and set as local administrator of the SQL server) as a user profile created for the office summary generation mechanisms to work correctly a. The best way to do this is to log on at least once with the new user account
