The enVisual application uses a combination of ODBC DSN connections and ADO connections. We have included and application that will automatically create these for you.
Locate in the enVisual installation folder, a file called ‘enVisODBC.exe’, run this file.
Enter the following values in each text box.
Serial Number Your enVisual Serial Number.
Server Name The SQL server instance name, i.e. servername\sql001
SQL User Name By default we recommend the SA user.
SQL Server Password Password for the above user.
Encryption Specifies if the connection files should be encrypted.
Operating System Specifies if you are running enVisual on a 32 or 64 bit OS.
Then click the ‘add ADO Connections’ button to create the connections.
Once the process is complete a message will be displayed. Click OK to end the process and close the utility.
