Address Maintenance Address Maintenance is the section where all the address used in the system can be centrally managed. Each address here can be edited or deleted as well as new addresses can be added to the system here. Editing or deleting an address here will effect all entities that uses this selected address, therefore if editing an address for a single entity it is advised that the entity wizard is used to do this. The Address Maintenance grid is shown below.
This shows the standard address fields that are used by the system. Not all these fields are mandatory and can therefore be left blank, there are two exceptions, which are Address 1 and Country, these two fields are mandatory in the system.
Standard Controls The standard controls bar, which appear at the bottom of the screen can be used to change the selected maintenance item.
Add While in the address maintenance section, this button can be used to add a new address. When clicking the add button, the following screen will be displayed.
Edit The edit button can be used to edit the details of an existing address if the address is available for editing. This is done using the above screen.
Delete When you select an item from the main working area, you can click the delete button to remove this item from the system, a confirmation box will be displayed incase the button is click accidentally.
Export This will export whatever is in the working area into an excel spreadsheet so that this can be used externally from the system.
Refresh The refresh button simply refreshes what is being displayed in the grid
X The X button simple closes the maintenance module. |
