To add a new sales opportunity
Click the add function either from the controls or by right clicking on the opportunities grid.
This will launch the standard enVisual process launcher.
Opportunities is based around the enVisual enProcess module and some of it's functions are inherent to enProcess, more details on this can be found in the enProcess help.
The prospective client is displayed at 'a', this will be automatically populated with the prospective client of the currently selected opportunity if launched from the right click option. This can be changed, by using the find function (b) to launch the enVisual GES. If the prospective client currently does not exist as a contact within enVisual then a new contact can be added and selected using search.
Ensure that the global find option is enabled under the performance tab in system configuration if a different style search engine is displayed.
Ensure that the selected process 'c' is 'enVisual - Opportunities Process' or 'CRM Business Opportunity'. This is the same process but may be named 'CRM business opportunity' on older versions.
Ensure that status is set to active and that the start now check box 'd' is ticked.
Click the select button 'e' to begin the addition process. Clicking cancel will cancel starting the process and return to the grid.
This will launch the opportunities wizard.
Process wizard controls
Each data capture form has the same navigational control panel. The controls perform the following functions
Close Closes the process wizard without completing it, which means it can still be updated or edited.
Complete This closes and completes the process wizard, which means that it can still be viewed as read only, but not updated or edited.
In terms of opportunities correct selection of the above controls is important as once you click complete on an opportunity the details of opportunity cannot be updated.
ABC (may be disabled) This allows use of the enVisual optional spell checking function. Use of this control will spell check data enter into the data capture form fields.
Previous Page (left arrow) navigates to previous page if available
Next Page (right arrow) Navigates to next page if available
View Communications This allows any communications that have been logged in enVisual against the prospective client to be viewed whilst still keeping the wizard open.
Create Task Allows an enVisual task to be created against the current prospect.
Form Fields
An brief explanation of the field functions is given below.

On page 2 there is an addition check box labeled bespoke service. This provides provision for the user to detail services that may not be available in the product and service selection list.
Clicking the check box opens new fields.
The fields are defined in the same way as in the above table, with the difference that the product service field is now open for the user to enter product details.
Page 3
Page contains large text fields that will enable the user to store notes on any activities associated with this opportunity.
Once the required details have been added the wizard can then be closed using the 'close' button. When returning to the Opportunities Grid if the newly added opportunity is not visible then click the refresh button to refresh the view.
