The user interface
enSelect can be launched directly from the shortcut or from within the enVisual navigation bar. If enSelect is launched from the shortcut then you will be prompted for a username and password. This is your usual enVisual log in. Please consult you enVisual administrator if you do not have details, also refer to the System Administration & Configuration section of this manual.
If the application is launched directly from enVisual then your user details will be passed into it automatically.
Once the application has been launched you will be presented with the interface.
Interface controls
The interface is divided into several areas used for configuration or report execution. Each of these key areas is described below.
The Toolbar
Access to Module Maintenance, Security Options and Parameter Import/Export Options
Standard Controls
Standard Add, Edit, Delete,Refresh and exit controls
Tree View Selection
Organizational tree view displaying for selection either reports or parameters dependant on selected tab
Tree View Tab Selection
Controls current tree view display, either reports or parameters
Parameter Selection
Displays company name and parameters required by the currently selected report
Report Output Selection
Executes currently selected report to either preview window with export and print options, direct to print or direct export
