Alert Warnings

Top  Previous  Next

Alerts are used within envisual to trigger and notify user when a rule or conditions set has been breached. Such rule can be created either Manually or automatically via a AI Rule using a stored procedure provided by enVisual. When such breach is then corrected or rectified, such rule notification can be removed from the alert grid either manually or automatically by re-running the rule breach function again.

Alert can be ran for Specific entity or for All Entities if required. Running the Alert function will check the system for any breach that has occurred. (this will check for both Manual and A.I Alerts). Alerts can then be added, edited and deleted as required. Pls note – only manual alerts can be edited while alert generated via A.I cannot be edited but deleted. Depending on what type of alert is breached, the Lock Entity can be used and utilize to maintain how such entity is used for data entry. This can be used to prevent full access and limit access while such entity has a breach. When an Entity is locked due to rule breach, this makes such entity readonly and only user with security can input data for such entity until unlocked again. The security for such option is maintained at Settings > Security > System Security > enVisual4 > Security System > Entity Locks. The Task option is used to Edit task generated for A.I Alerts

The Alert icon is controlled by security which is maintained at General > Toolbar > AI Warnings > Manage Alerts/Warnings
