Share Consolidation |
Top Previous Next |
The share consolidation feature allows multiple shares to be transferred from multiple shareholders to a single shareholder in one transaction flow.
The following steps demonstrate how to use this feature:
1. From the split transaction summary screen we can select the "Add" button
2. From the transfer pages we can first select the shareholder within a share category we wish to transfer the shares FROM. We can then select who these shares are to be transferred TO and the amount to transfer. We can obviously set all the other options available within a single transfer as/if required. This process can be repeated numerous times to create a list of records that will be transferred.
3. From the summary screen we can clearly see the shareholders the transfer will be completed against, including the amounts of shares held and to be transferred as well as the proposed share certificate number to be used. Important: When the auto-Increment share option is selected the share certificate numbers shown are only proposed and have not been set until the OK button is pressed.
4. Once the OK has been pressed the share transaction will be initiated and the share certificates will be produced, if configured, and you will be forced back to the category overview where all the new transfer records will be shown.
