Note: As of enVisual Version 4.5.30.xx, Invoice Templates are Master Entity specific. Master entity selection can be changed via the ‘Current Accounting Entity Toolbar’ at the top of enVisual. Once a new master entity is selected, the user will need to refresh the toolbar (by clicking the image to the left of Current Accounting Entity until it cycles back to same option again) and also reload their enFee maintenance screens.
This means that separate products, templates and fee lines will need to be created for separate master entities.
Creating a Template From the enFee maintenance panel select Invoice template and click on the add button to add a template.
Enter a short description for the fee template and select the fee type. Note that the fee type field is highlighted in blue. This denotes a hyper link, in this case the hyper link will allow you to set up a new fee type at run time.
Now select the invoice layout you intend to use for the template, and a cover sheet if required. Now enter a description of the fee to be produced. In the example below the fee is for use with all IBC’s with greater than $50,000 in share capital
Next we can add our fee lines. This can be single or multiple lines.
To add a line click on add button.
You are then presented with a selection of fee line structures as shown below the function of each of these is explained on the screen.
Select a Flat primary scale for our first fee line. For more details on primary scales go to Primary Scales
Now select the fee line – when selected the revenue account attached to this fee line will automatically be selected. If you wish to use a different revenue account then select one from the drop down list.
Now select the scale you wish to use. I have selected a Primary Scale of Government Fee IBC > 50,000
To view details of the scale click on the next button. This will display all the details of this scale on the two tabs as show below.
Now click on next to finish. You can now continue to add lines to the template. In the example below I have also added an extra line attached to another fixed value primary scale for the provision of registered office for one year. When used this template will automatically bill the client two fixed amounts on separate invoice lines.
