Currencies This is where the different currencies used by the different countries can be edited in the system. The currencies grid looks like this.
Currency Code This is the short code of the currency, this code used throughout the application to relate to the currencies.
Description This is the name of the currency as the user and is what the user sees when they use this currency.
Symbol This is the Symbol that is assigned to this currency, and is that symbol that will be shown thought the application when this currency is used.
Exch. Rate The exch rate or exchange rate is the exchange rate of this currency to the base currency setup in the application, any calculations that use this currency will use this exchange rate.
Date Updated This is the date that this currency was last updated.
Editable This marks if this currency if available to be edited or not. It is recommended that all currencies are editable or exchange rates cannot be updated as they change.
Standard Controls The standard controls bar, which appear at the bottom of the screen can be used to change the selected maintenance item.
Add While in the currencies section, this button can be used to add a new currency. When clicking the add button, the following screen will be displayed.
Edit The edit button can be used to edit the details of an existing currency if the currency is available for editing. This is done using the above screen.
Delete When you select an item from the main working area, you can click the delete button to remove this item from the system, a confirmation box will be displayed incase the button is click accidentally.
Export This will export whatever is in the working area into an excel spreadsheet so that this can be used externally from the system.
Refresh The refresh button simply refreshes what is being displayed in the grid
X The X button simple closes the maintenance module. |
